Who is this hobby for anymore? (WH40K)

I unbox some Games Workshop products and ask the question: Who is this hobby supposed to be for anymore?\r
Is it still for kids and young teenagers or middle aged men? Perhaps it is still for all of those groups but price hikes and the overall cost of the hobby has recently got me wondering.\r
