NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin wants a more respectable salary in comparison to the money made by NBA and NFL athletes. Hamlin told ESPN There's no mandatory pay scale for NASCAR drivers, forcing them to rely on sponsorships. NASCAR distributes 65 percent of the money it receives from its $8 billion television deal to the tracks, 25 percent to the teams and keeps 10 percent.
