Jason Aldean is responding after what’s been called the worst mass shooting in U.S. history took place in Las Vegas during his concert at Mandalay Bay.
Aldean’s concert goers underwent two hours of gunfire, killing at least 50 people and injuring at least 200.
Aldean posted on Instagram, saying “tonight has been beyond horrific. I still don’t know what to say but I wanted to let everyone know that me and my crew are safe.”
Of course, Aldean’s main concern was for those killed and injured during his performance.
He says, “My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved tonight. It hurts my heart that this would happen to anyone who was just coming out to enjoy what should have been a fun night.”
According to People magazine, the suspect opened fire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay casino and was eventually killed by police.
