An American Airlines Boeing 767-200, operating flight 180 from LAX to JFK, declares emergency while approaching the airport due to a missing indication that the right main landing gear was extended. The crew performed a fly-by on runway 22R: upon receiving confirmation from the ground that the gear appeared to be down, the pilots circled to land ASAP as the aircraft was also starting to be low on fuel. Once on the ground, rescue vehicles inspected the brakes, pinned the gear and the aircraft was then towed to its gate.\r
