C’EST SI BON
Frank & Rick
(Henri Betti, André Hornez)

"C'est si bon" is a French popular song composed in 1947 by Henri Betti with the lyrics by André Hornez.
The Jacques Helian orchestra recorded it in 1948, and some time later it was played also by the French singer Yves Montand.
In 1949, Nino Rastelli wrote the Italian lyrics for the singer Natalino Otto (with the title “Tutto è bello”).
In 1950 “C’est Si Bon" reached to America, translated into “It's so good" (Jerry Seelen wrote the English lyrics for the song), with mildly successful versions by Johnny Desmond and Danny Kaye. Louis Armstrong also recorded it, but Eartha Kitt made it a Top Ten American hit in 1953. In Sixties, Dean Martin and Barbra Streisand (with musical arrangements of Michel Legrand) have recorded the song in English.
