Aesop's Fables-Dinner Time (1928)

We see the usual Terry animals conniving food out of each other via clever antics. A bird causes a cat to fall from a tall building, gradually losing each of its nine lives. As the cat hits the ground, a drunkard smashes his bottle of "XXX" when he sees the cat come back to life.
Later, we find Farmer Alfa in front of his butcher shop, trying unsuccessfully to chop a tough cut of meat. Stray dogs overrun the shop and the dogcatcher is called. In the chaos, the dogs escape the wagon and instead put a dazed Al in it. When that mishap is cleared up and Alfa returns to the shop, he finds the dogs have simply lifted it from its foundation and run off with it. The usual Terry end chase scene ensues.
