Celebrities band together for Puerto Rico

An outpouring of celebrities have donated their time, money and resources to the devastated island of Puerto Rico. Jennifer Lopez pledged $1 million and started the "Somos Una Voz" (we are one voice) relief alliance. which a number of other artists, like Daddy Yankee and Bruno Mars, are doing their part to "rush" supplies to Puerto Rico. Ricky Martin donated $100,000, while Pitbull reportedly lent his private plane to transport cancer patients to the U.S. mainland for chemotherapy treatments. Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban loaned his private jet to Puerto Rican player J.J. Barea so that he drop off supplies and pick up some of his family members. Royal Caribbean canceled a trip to lend a hand While past U.S. presidents, including Barack Obama, launched their own fundraising effort. Thunder star and Puerto Rican Carmelo Anthony donated $100,000 to relief efforts.
