Twitter tests doubling up its character limit

Twitter has decided to give its users more space to say what they feel.
The firm says it’s doubling its limit on tweets to 280 characters because research suggests the 140-limit is a “major source of frustration.”

But for now the additional characters will only be available for a small number of Twitter’s 328-million users.
It’s not known yet whether the US President Donald Trump, arguably the world’s most well known Tweeter, is among the test group.
