Snake catcher relocates young python found in garden

Footage has emerged of a snake catcher pulling a 1.5-metre long python out of a tree in a holiday resort in South Africa.

The footage, shot on September 26 in Bosveld, shows Cor Viljoen using a towel to cover the snake's head so it would not be aggressive.

He then took the python further away and released it in the wild.

"I was called for a python in a tree at our resort, it was close to a chalet so the guests were scared of it," he wrote.
