'Height Of Hypocrisy': Hillary Clinton Slams Kushner's Reported Use Of Personal Email

Hillary Clinton on Monday shared her thoughts on the reported use of personal email by Jared Kushner for White House business.

Hillary Clinton shared her thoughts on Monday when she was asked about the potentially inappropriate use of personal email for official purposes.
Only this time, the individual discussed was someone from the Trump administration - President Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner.
In an interview with SiriusXM, Clinton revealed her reaction to reports that Kushner was found to have used a non-government email address to discuss business with top White House officials.
First referring to her own personal email use as Secretary of State, Clinton said, "I take responsibility for it. And I say it was a dumb mistake but it was a dumber scandal."
She added that members of the Trump administration "knew there was no real scandal."
On reports involving Kushner, Clinton said, "now we’re finding, as with the latest revelations, that they didn’t mean any of it."
"It’s just the height of hypocrisy," she noted. "It’s something that if they were sincere about it, I think you’d have Republican members of Congress calling for an investigation. I haven’t heard that yet."
Newsweek reported Monday that personal email use in the Trump administration wasn't limited to Kushner.
First daughter Ivanka Trump also reportedly used a private email account to correspond with members of her father’s administration in late February.
Furthermore, the New York Times reports, citing officials, "Stephen K. Bannon, the former chief White House strategist, and Reince Priebus, the former chief of staff...occasionally used private email addresses. Other advisers, including Gary D. Cohn and Stephen Miller, sent or received at least a few emails on personal accounts."
During a press briefing on Monday, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that based on her knowledge, the use of private email accounts in the White House is "very limited."
"White House Counsel has instructed all White House staff to use their government email for official business, and only use that email," Sanders added.
