1 killed, 7 wounded in Tennessee church shooting

One person was killed and seven others were injured Sunday after a masked man carrying two guns opened fire at a Tennessee church. The suspect, 25-year-old Emanuel Kidega Samson, has been charged with murder. Samson arrived to the US from Sudan in 1996, and is a legal US resident. The FBI confirmed it's launched a civil rights investigation into the shooting.
