Matt Storniolo tells the story about becoming an all-american, but it wasn't when he wanted it to be. Coming into the NCAA tournament as a freshman he lost in the all-american round to his friend Jeremy Spates. The next year he found himself in the quarterfinals against a guy he had beat but he ended up losing. Matt Storniolo dropped into the backside of the bracket and in the all-american round had an opponent he beat the year before. It was 0-0 going into the second period and the guy chose down, Matt knew he had won. He ripped the guy's arm off and made him have to go to the hospital and won by major decision.
