UK weather: Sunny Sunday kicks off warmer week before 'unsettling' start to October
SUNNY and warmer weather will be a welcomed start to the week, according to the latest forecast. Those further inland and in the west may, however, experience showers as clouds are pushed inland by the warmer front.Both North Ireland and the east are also predicted to experience warm weather throughout Monday, while some rain is expected to linger in the west,MeteoGroup forecaster George Goodfellow said: “Temperatures are good for late September, especially after recent cool weather.”Today is likely to be the best day for Londoners desperate for some sunshine to make plans in the outdoors, Met Office forecaster Chris Page has claimed. Mr Page said: “If they want a bit of sunshine, Sunday is the day to go with your family for a walk in the park."The Met Office forecaster has also said that the rest of the UK could expect warmer temperatures from the beginning of the coming week.He added: “It’s actually going to feel largely pleasant, despite it already being autumn.”Tuesday and Wednesday are forecast to bring a smattering of sunshine and showers across the UK, with a wet and windy Wednesday expected for the west.
Meanwhile the Met Office warned of "unsettling" weather for the start of October.It said: "From next weekend, it is likely to turn increasing unsettled for all with spells of rain, locally heavy, spreading east."It will be windy with the risk of gales in places, particularly across coastal areas. Temperatures will be around average for the time of year."More unsettled weather will continue across the country by the second week in October, most especially in the north and west.". 00FastNews.
