Michael Gove demands Camberley must feature on M3 road signs
ITS ROYAL Military Academy boasts an illustrious alumni which includes Sir Winston Churchill, the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry. A spokesman for the Mr Gove said: “Highways England responded that Camberley was not considered ‘a primary destination’.”Highways England told the former Education Secretary that despite his concerns, there are no plans to modify the signs to include Camberley “as it believes it would not offer value for money for the taxpayer”.Mr Gove said he is “disappointed” with Highways England and has asked his cabinet colleague, Transport Secretary Chris Grayling, to investigate.Known simply as Sandhurst, the Royal Military Academy is the British Army’s initial officer training centre and is located in the centre of Camberley in Berkshire.All British Army officers as well as other men and women from overseas, are trained at the Academy, which was founded in 1947.. 00FastNews.
