Jennifer Lawrence continues her campaign of just plain not giving a darn what anyone thinks.
According to People magazine, the actress gave critics of her film “Mother!” a big middle finger at an Academy screening in New York City.
J-Law appeared with her director/boyfriend, Darren Aronofsky, who reportedly just laughed off his girlfriend’s actions. After all, they couldn’t really bomb any worse. “Mother!” made a measly $7.5 million dollars at the box office its opening weekend, and received an “F” rating from CinemaScore, which polls results from audiences.
According to People, J-Law told reporters “We knew it was going to be polarizing… So it’s just hilarious to see, you know, the people who love it and they think it’s amazing and they get it. And the people who don’t like it, absolutely despise it… There’s no in between.”
It might be a total flop, so J-Law will flip haters the bird.
