Mr. Robot Season 3 Interview - Portia Doubleday

In season three you will see Angela playing multiple sides, and what the consequences of that are, it's going to be a fast paced ride.
Season three takes place in 2015, so it's not a reflection of this time, but it is now actually going to predict the future which is our present.
I think that Angela and Elliot have a remarkable bond, they understand each other in ways that other people can't. I think she really cares about Elliot, and what she is fighting for is what they are both fighting for, they're just going about it in two completely different ways.
These characters have so many conflicts that are going on, and you don't know who to trust, and you don't know where people's loyalties lie, and there's just this overwhelming sense of urgency this season.
There definitely is a change in her demeanour based off of the conversation she had with Whiterose, something changed.
She thinks that she's in control, and she has a lot of power this season.
Wardrobe is essential, it adds so much to who Angela is, I think it's an essential part of who she's evolving into, and this season Angela's wearing a lot of white, there's something very angelic about it which again implies how I will be, given what I'm wearing, and that is very representative of the journey that she's on this season.
I think in season three right from the beginning it's a very fast pace, there's just this edge of your seat feeling all the time, a lot of the cliffhangers, especially with Angela, you start to have some of the answers that you've been waiting for, so I'm excited to see what people think.
