An amazing video from China has emerged of a crab climbing out of a boiling hot cooking pan and turning it off, seemingly saving his three crustaceans chums.

In the footage, captured in Lianyungang in Jiangsu Province, north of Shanghai, on September 5, the clever crab climbs out of a heated pan and then presses the button to turn it off, while three crabs remain in the pan.
