Drone footage filmed by Luke Tucker on September 12 shows severe destruction to the Heartland Lanes bowling center in Sebring, Florida, following Hurricane Irma. The bowling center had been a staple of the community, according to Tucker.The manager of the bowling alley, Sue Merritt, wrote on Facebook on September 12 that the center had experienced a “catastrophic fire the night of the hurricane” and said the “devastation was overwhelming.”Merritt said plans were already being made to rebuild the center. “The Phoenix will rise again,” she wrote.She also said that that fundraisers would be held for employees who had lost their jobs as a result of the damage.
