Im Ioana Avram, fashion designer. Welcome to my Fashion teaching channel where you will find design videos starting from basic, easy level ( for beginners ) until advanced level. 1. What materials do you use for your drawings?\r

I use Toison dOr or Koh-I-Noor pencils ( from 4B to 8B), Copic markers, Derwent coloured pencils, Canson paper or Fabriano paper, Fis eraser, metal pencil sharper and Winsor and Newton watercolors and ink.\r

2. Did you go to any art school or academy?\r

Yes, I studied design and fashion design ( for 4 years) at the University of Arts and Design in Cluj, Romania, Europe. I had a scholarship in Katowice, Poland and another one in Coburg, Germany and a course attended with Gary Tu - a well-known fashion illustrator from Taipei, Taiwan.\r

3.Where do you get your inspiration?\r

Basically I am very interested in any image and text that could grab my attention: fashion albums, history of art, books I read, s I see.In f, i will share below all my sources of inspiration. Find all my inspirational folders here: \r

Definitely I would recommend Gottfried Bammes Anatomy, Barcsays Anatomy and David Downtons illustrations that you will find here: and here: \r

5. How long have you been drawing?\r

30 years ago some desperate parents interdicted their 3 years old child to use pencils to draw on their houses inner walls :). Due to this, and to the f that all pencils, brushes and markers were forbidden, the child found another way to express: all chocolate received was hidden and used to decorate the walls when all other tools were not available.30 years later, here I am, willing to tell a story on every wall there is. Not with chocolate, like I used to :), but in watercolors, as you can find on my shop here: Thank you, and hope to enjoy my illustrations and videos from your comfortable armchair, having a cup of warm milk in your hand and smiling.\r
