Arsenal have beaten Bayern Munich 3-2 on penalties following a 1-1 draw in normal time
A good start to the tournament from Arsenal, who face Chelsea in Beijing on Saturday, whilst Bayern will have to pick themselves up ahead of their clash against AC Milan on the same day.
What a turn of events, Bayern led and dominated for most of the match, but Alex Iwobi's equaliser with the last touch of the game sent the game into penalties and Arsenal won the shootout 3-2.
