Italy opened the scoring through Gianluca Lapadula, who would go on to score a hat-trick as the Azzurri romped home to an easy win. San Marino were no match for this youthful and energetic Italian team.
Italy have named an almost unrecognisable team for their friendly against minnows San Marino, with the Azzurri's starting XI featuring nine debutants and having only two caps between them.
With Juventus preparing for this weekend's Champions League clash with Real Madrid in Cardiff, Gian Piero Ventura is without many senior players including the likes of Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini.
In their place Andrea Petagna and Roberto Gagliardini are the experienced heads in the side, as the only two players to have worn the famous blue jersey (once) before.
