We generate 2.5 terabytes of data per day. Means nothing to you? That’s understandable.
In fact, that’s what is known as “big data”. This obscure term simply refers to the constant flow of all that data all around the world, all of the time. And we’re all actively contributing to that flow.
But what exactly is that data? How is it generated? What use is it really?
