100 Rupee coin will be introduced to mark Dr MG Ramachandran's birth centenary

The Rs. 100 coins will be introduced to commemorate the occasion of Dr MG Ramachandran birth centenary. This was stated in a notification, dated September 11, from the Ministry of Finance.
ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನ ಮಾಜಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಡಾ. ಎಂ.ಜಿ. ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರನ್ ಅವರ 100ನೇ ಜನ್ಮದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯಂದು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ, 100 ರು. ಹಾಗೂ ಹೊಸ 5 ರು. ನಾಣ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಲಿದೆ.
