I love Chinese food, or at least whats offered as Chinese food here in North America. LAYS has been one of my favourite chips brands. Past few years LAYS has been bringing out a lot of new and exciting flavours specially through their DO US A FLAVOUR campaigns in USA and Canada. I saw LAYS SIZZLIN SZECHUAN chips and got super excited. SZECHUAN cuisine is from a Chinese province called SICHUAN. The bag that I bought has a lot of very large pieces of chips. The chips are a light shade of brown in hue and barely have any visible spices on them. LAYS SIZZLIN SZECHUAN chips smell a lot like ginger and spices and in turn it smells very authentic to American Chinese food. It has a good amount of ginger flavour and spiciness to it and its also slightly sweet. Its a bit on the salty side but then again so is all Chinese foods I have tried. LAYS SIZZLIN SZECHUAN chips absolutely tastes like Chinese food. LAYS got this flavour down perfect !!!
