An amusing video has emerged showing a man's ingenious method for switching his bedroom light off from bed.

The footage shows Australian science teacher Jacob Strickling using a toy gun to fire at a target, which causes a chain reaction ending in the light being switched off.

Jacob is the creator behind YouTube Channel 'Make Science Fun' which showcase his science and engineering skills.
