3D-Printed Buildings: The B-Hut Army Barrack

If you've ever wondered how comfortable a 3D-printed barrack is, then the U.S. Army is set to find out.

The Army recently unveiled a 3D-printed concrete structure known as barrack huts.

The structure, otherwise known as "B-Hut," was created by an Army research program. At 512 feet, the 3D printed building is made of locally available material, which is aimed to cut down on labor costs.

And they're not done. The lab is working with NASA on a large scale concrete 3D printer that's expected to be done by the end of this year.
