Burn Survivor Dana Vulvin Shares Her Story
  • 7 years ago
An Australian burn victim who was set on fire in February 2012 is talking about her life and her long road to recovery, one that's included more than 200 surgical procedures, in her forthcoming book.

In her forthcoming book "Worth Fighting For," Dana Vulin relives being set on fire by Natalia Dimitrovska, who attacked Vulin after seeing her speak to Dimitrovska's estranged husband at a party. As a result, Vulin was burned on 60 percent of her body and put in a medically induced coma, where she nearly died.

Today, Vulin gives motivational speeches about her path to recovery. Although she must undergo more surgeries in the future, she looks forward to sharing her story and inspiring others.
