PowerPoint Image background - Chop up Images for Artictic Effects ✔

So here we are, having an image background and wanting to do something flashy with it, perhaps reveal certain parts of it, add articstic effects or just adding a bit of flavour with color changes. All that is possible if we duplicate the image in powerpoint, crop it to the right amount and then work with shapes or crops within those small areas. The duplicated item can be adjusted while the background remains the same. Easy peasy!
