Huge asteroid to pass by Earth on Friday morning. Are we safe?

A massive three-mile-wide asteroid is set to pass by the Earth on Friday morning. Florence is the largest asteroid to pass by our planet this close since NASA began tracking the events in the 1990s. Florence will be approximately 4.4 million miles away from Earth. Amateur astronomers will be able to see the asteroid using small telescopes. And do not panic!
There is no risk of collision with our planet.
