As the NCT unit group that consists of teens, NCT DREAM came back to fans in February of 2017, showcasing their 1st single, "The First."
With rap lyrics written by member Mark, "My First and Last" is about a teenage boy and his ambitions to make his first love, his last.

NCT의 10대 청소년 연합팀 'NCT DREAM'이 지난 해 8월 데뷔곡 'Chewing Gum'을 발표한 이후 약 6개월만인 2017년 2월, 첫 번째 싱글 [The First]을 선보였다.
[마지막 첫사랑]은 캐치한 멜로디가 인상적인 팝 곡으로, 첫사랑이 마지막 사랑이 되도록 만들겠다는 10대 소년의 당찬 사랑 고백을 담았으며, 멤버 마크가 직접 랩 작사에 참여했다.
