by Anthony FalcoRobots for everyone!Georgia Tech just opened the “Robotarium,” $2.5 million laboratory housing nearly 100 rolling and flying swarm robots that are available to anyone.Roboticists from around the world can test out their programs simply by uploading their code, and the Georgia Tech machines will carry out the commands.The idea is to make expensive swarm technology accessible to a wide range of people, in an effort to foster collaboration and advance robotics research.Just to get this out of the way now: We welcome our swarming robot overlords.
