The five-judge constitution bench headed by Chief Justice J.S. Khehar, included Justice Kurian Joseph who is a Christian, Justice Rohinton Nariman who is a Parsi, Justice Uday Lalit who is a Hindu and Justice Abdul Nazeer, a Muslim.
