The Next Mega Tsunami

In the Aceh Province of Indonesia on the 26th of December 2004, the deadliest tsunami in history destroyed the coast and left the world in shock. Many thousands lost their lives because they were not prepared. Now scientists are spurring into action, racing to determine where and when the next big tsunami could strike and just how destructive it will be.
Ten years after one of the most deadly tsunamis ever known, scientists are making a shocking discovery. Experts used to believe that the biggest killer waves were only generated in a handful of regions, but mounting evidence now suggests that more of the world’s coasts, from the Mediterranean to Australia, could be in grave danger.
