Ivanka Trump: 'No Place In Society For Racism, White Supremacy And Neo-Nazis'

Ivanka Trump on Sunday tweeted about the violence in Charlottesville.
President Trump has been criticized for blaming "many sides" when he addressed the violence in Charlottesville on Saturday. Many have since called on him to speak out particularly against white supremacists.
Ivanka Trump's tweets on Sunday, however, were more specific, when she wrote, "There should be no place in society for racism, white supremacy and neo-nazis."
She continued, "We must all come together as Americans -- and be one country UNITED."
Numerous reactions followed, with one Twitter user saying, "Please tell your dad & his close advisers. The world & the American people need to hear this from @POTUS, not you."
The president made his remarks on Charlottesville during a press appearance in Bedminster, NJ.
"We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides, on many sides," Trump said. "It has been going on for a long time in our country -- not Donald Trump, not Barack Obama. It's been going on for a long, long time."
Shortly after the president's statement, former vice president Joe Biden tweeted, "There is only one side. #charlottesville"
The attorney general of Virginia, Mark Herring, said, "The violence, chaos, and apparent loss of life in Charlottesville is not the fault of 'many sides.' It is racists and white supremacists."
Three people died on Saturday as white nationalists gathered for a large rally in the city.
According to NPR, "One of those killed was a 32-year-old female pedestrian who was hit by a car that plowed into marchers...(and) a short time after the violence erupted, a police helicopter crashed, killing two troopers."
