“We met Farhad one month after he arrived to Serbia, after few days in the refugee center we discovered his talent and then he started attending school for painting and photography and we wanted to show a retrospective of what he has achieved during the classes,” says the Refugees Foundation’s Anita Milev.

All the money Farhad’s pictures earn will go towards the medical treatment in Paris for a young Serbian boy recovering from brain tumor surgery.

He likes drawing portraits, including Harry Potter, Salvador Dali and Picasso himself, and he also takes photos and records his family’s daily life in Serbia. His dream is to make it to Switzerland one day to become a painter and photographer.
