"Sex and the City" star Cynthia Nixon may soon find herself in a political position. The star said she is even being encouraged by her fans to run for New York governor next year. "There are a lot of people who would like me to run. And I think for a variety of reasons, but I think the No. 1 is education," Nixon said on the Today show The 51-year-old has become more involved in politics in recent years.
