Jeb Bush On Trump Presidency: 'It's Exhausting'

Jeb Bush has called President Trump’s time in office thus far “exhausting.”

Jeb Bush has called President Trump’s time in office thus far “exhausting," reports the Hill.
The former Florida governor made the comment during a recent interview with Univision where he was asked what grade he would give Trump now that he has passed the six-month mark as president.
Bush said, “It’s exhausting. I mean, it’s an incomplete grade in the sense that not much has been done. But it feels like the whole world’s been turned upside down.”
The former presidential hopeful added, “He’s created controversy where there’s no need for it. He should lead. And all his tweeting and the pushing down people to make himself look better is not helping.”
And, after saying he was praying for Trump and the U.S., Bush said, “I hope he assumes the mantle of leadership that he has not yet done.”
Bush’s remarks echo similar criticisms he has previously made against the president; last month, he told attendees of a New York festival that “[Trump] unleashed five tweets today about stuff that jeopardizes his legal situation, insults somebody, goes back to the 2016 election, none of which is relevant to getting tax relief done, regulatory reform done.”
He then noted, “This is going to be a long ride between 2018 in January, much less 2020.”
In addition to disagreeing with Trump’s governing style, Bush told Univision that he has reservations about the RAISE Immigration Reform Act which the administration supports; the bill aims to reduce legal immigration.
Bush said he is in favor of limiting family-based petitions but wouldn't like to see reduced opportunities for immigrants who benefit the economy.
