Brock Osweiler starts preseason as QB for the Browns

Brock Osweiler will be the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns this preseason going into Thursday's game against the New Orleans Saints. On Monday, Browns coach Hue Jackson confirmed the news but stated any of the team's quarterbacks could take the starting spot once the season opens. The Browns accepted Osweiler in a trade from the Houston Texans back in March. Coach Jackson talked about picking Osweiler: Brock hasn't really gotten any first-team reps, and this will give him that chance. We look forward to seeing what he can do with this opportunity throughout the week and against the Saints. The Browns will play against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the season opener.
