Bethlehem Graffiti Mocks Trump's Wall Ambitions

President Donald Trump’s call for a border wall between the US and Mexico was mocked by an artist who painted him on a security barrier in Bethlehem on August 4.Melbourne-based artist Lushsux, known for his cutting commentary on pop culture, painted the mural against a concrete barrier created by Israel in occupied West Bank. The two giant artworks depict Trump embracing a guard tower and another wearing a yarmulke with thought bubbles saying “I’m going to build you a brother.” The latter is in reference to a photo of the US President touching the Western Wall during his state visit to Israel in May.While some media outlets initially reported the artwork was possibly created by Banksy, the signature of lushsux can be seen next to the mural. The style of the murals is also consistent with @lushsux's previous work. Credit: Instagram/lushsux via Storyful
