സര്ക്കാര് ജോലി വേണമെങ്കില്‍ ഉദ്യോഗാര്‍ഥികള്‍ കന്യകാത്വം വ്യക്തമാക്കണമെന്ന ബിഹാര്‍ സര്ക്കാര് ആശുപത്രിയുടെ ആവശ്യം വിവാദമാകുന്നു. വിവാഹ വിവരങ്ങള്‍ ആവശ്യപ്പെടുന്നത് സാധാരണമാണ്. എന്നാല്‍ ഇതാദ്യമായിട്ടാണ് കന്യകാത്വം വ്യക്തമാക്കാന്‍ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്.
ഇന്ദിരാഗാന്ധി മെഡിക്കല്‍ സയന്‍സില്‍ പുതുതായി ജോലിക്കെത്തുന്നവര്‍ക്കായുള്ള അപേക്ഷ ഫോമിലാണ് വിവാദ ആവശ്യം ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഇതിനു പുറമെ ഉദ്യോഗാര്‍ഥികളുടെ ഭാര്യമാരുടെയും ഭര്‍ത്താക്കന്മാരുടെയും എണ്ണവും പങ്കാളുയുടെ മുന്‍ വിവാഹ വിവരങ്ങളും ഫോമില്‍ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. സംഭവം വിവാദമായിട്ടുണ്ട്.
