CCTV Captures Moment Small Aircraft Crashes into Santa Ana Freeway

A small personal Cessna aircraft crashed into a freeway near Santa Ana, California before bursting into a ball of flames, shortly after taking off from John Wayne Airport, on June 30. Footage of the crash was released by the airport last weekend. The aircraft reportedly suffered a power failure, leading to the loss of control and the crash. The pilot of the Cessna crash landed on the edge of the airport after attempting to land on a runway. Miraculously, both the pilot and his wife, who was the sole passenger in the craft, reportedly survived.
