Drone Footage Captures Pink Salmon Run Near Cordova, Alaska

The Hartney Bay area, near Alaska’s Prince William Sound and Cordova, experienced its annual influx of chum and pink salmon returning to home spawning grounds, and Danny L. Sanford was there on July 22 to shoot drone footage of the run.Hundreds of salmon fish can be seen swimming somewhat leisurely in the video, until, toward the end, the fish are startled by a hungry sea lion.
