Open-air French lessons for migrants in Paris

Come rain or shine, this group of around 100 migrants meet every evening for an open-air French lesson, on the grassy verge of the Bassin de la Villette in northern Paris. The classes are organised by the association BAAM which says it aims to fill a vacuum by offering classes to all migrants, regardless of their legal status. Currently the French government only provides language lessons to migrants with refugee status.
