Hundreds Participate in Reykjavik 'Slutwalk' to Raise Awareness of Sexual Abuse

Hundreds of Icelanders marched through downtown Reykjavik on Saturday, July 29, as part of the annual Druslugangan, or “Slut Walk,” aimed at raising awareness for the victims of sexual abuse and shame the offenders in such incidents.Similar marches are planned across the world throughout the coming months, including in Toronto, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
