TSA announces stricter security rules

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced Wednesday that travelers will be required
to place all electronics larger than cellphones in bins for X-ray screening at all U.S. airport The policy was tested in a pilot program at 10 airports The new security measures do not apply to passengers enrolled in “TSA Pre Check.” Said Huban Gowadia, the acting head of TSA. 280 airports in more than 100 countries have already tightened their screening, following new security requirements by the Department of Homeland Security.
