MLS Disciplinary Week 20: Gerso Fernandes contact with Luke Mulholland

The MLS Disciplinary Committee has suspended Sporting Kansas City midfielder Gerso Fernandes for one game and issued an undisclosed fine for serious foul play that endangered the safety of an opponent in the 76th minute Sporting KC’s match against the Real Salt Lake on July 22. Fernandes will serve the suspension during Sporting’s match on Saturday, July 29 against the Chicago Fire.
