آج آپ اور میں ہم سب دنیا کے دو مختلف خطوں میں بیٹھے ہیں مگر جِس بے یقینی کے اندر میں بیٹھا ہوں اُسی بے یقینی میں آپ بیٹھے ہیں اُسی بے یقینی میں دنیا کے دیگر ممالک کے لوگ بیٹھے ہیں کہ نہ جانے اگلی آنے والی گھڑی میں کہاں کیا ہوجاۓ۔
یـہ وہ بـے یـقـینـی کی کیفیّت ہےجـوانـسان سـے امـید اور یـقـیـن کا سـرمـایہ چھـیـن رہی ہے۔
یہاں مجھے پھر یہ کہنا پڑےگا کہ یہ اِس وجہ سے ہے کہ ہم نے انسانی مفاد کے بجاۓ معاشی مفاد کو اپنی ترجیح اور اپنی زندگی کا سب سے اہم
فریضہ سمجھا ہمیں اُس انسانی بنیاد پہ آنا چاہیے جہاں انسان کی روح کو انسان کے بدن پہ فوقیّت حاصل ہے۔
And, as things are, you and I inhabit two different regions of the world yet the condition of uncertainty is common to us all. This feeling of uncertainty has become universal and the people in other countries are prey to the same kind of doubts. Nobody knows what will happen in coming hours, days and months. This perpetual condition of uncertainty that is eroding our capital of hope and belief prevails in all countries without fail.
I see the cause of this universal dilapidation in our tendency of sacrificing human good at the altar of economic good. The things will start to change only when we return to the state where the needs of human soul get precedence over the needs of human body.
