Massive fires destroy forests in southern France and Corsica

Thousands of tourists and residents in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region have had to be evacuated due to wildfires. Some 4,000 hectares of land have been burned along the Mediterranean coast and on the island of Corsica.
