Aleppo Citadel Hosts First Concert in Several Years

The amphitheater at the ancient Aleppo citadel hosted a concert on July 25, the first such event held in several years, local sources said.Thousands people reportedly attended the concert at the UNESCO World Heritage site, which had been badly damaged by bombs and fighting in previous years.Shadi Jamil, a well known singer from Aleppo, sang at the concert, which was opened by the Orthodox Scout of St. Elie band.This footage was shared by a local from Aleppo and is described as showing the concert at the citadel.
