Ann Coulter Tells Trump To ‘Be A Man’ And Just Fire Sessions If He Wants To

Conservative commentator Ann Coulter has called on President Trump to “be a man” amid his continuing criticisms of Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

Conservative commentator Ann Coulter has reportedly called on President Trump to “be a man” amid his continuing criticisms of Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
On Tuesday, Washington Post’s Robert Costa tweeted, “Ann Coulter emails WashPost w/ msg for Pres. Trump: ‘Be a man – if you don’t want Sessions, then fire him. You’re the PRESIDENT.’”
Over the past week or so, Trump has continued to make public comments against Sessions with regards to his oversight of the Russia investigation; the onslaught began in a New York Times piece where the president said, “Sessions should have never recused himself, and if he was going to recuse himself, he should have told me before he took the job and I would have picked somebody else.”
Trump echoed these comments during a news conference Tuesday, saying, “I am disappointed in the attorney general. He should not have recused himself.”
That said, CNN reports that the president didn’t announce any decisions about Sessions, instead saying, “...we will see what happens, time will tell, time will tell.”
While the attorney general has remained quiet about the situation, an insider close to him told the Daily Beast that “Sessions is totally p****d off about [Trump’s attacks]. It’s beyond insane. It’s cruel and it’s insane and it’s stupid.”
The president reportedly believes that Sessions’ decision to recuse himself resulted in the special counsel investigation currently headed by former FBI Director Robert Mueller.
